120 members and supporters turned out for the annual dinner of the Folkestone & Hythe Conservative Association held at the Grand hotel in Folkestone on 23 October 2015.

Veterans & Chelsea Pensioners enjoy War & Peace Revival

On Saturday (25/7) Chairman of Shepway Cllr Jan Holben hosted around 50 Veterans and Chelsea Pensioners at the fantastic War & Peace Revival event on Folkestone Racecours. During the day she was joined by Cllrs Roger Wilkins and David Godrey.

Once a year there’s an event that celebrates the good things that young people have done.  Among those present to cheer them on were several local mayors including those from Lydd, New Romney and Folkestone as well as County Councillors Susan Carey and Carole Waters

Susan Carey nominates Sir Robert Worcester for Kent Invicta Award

At their last council meeting on 16 July Kent County Councillors awarded their annual Kent Invicta award to Sir Robert Worcester. Only a KCC councillor may nominate someone for the Invicta award and Sir Robert was nominated by Susan Carey who led the tributes.
