Good luck Philip for your election to the CCA

Good luck to our very own Folkestone and Hythe District Councillor for North Downs East, Philip Martin, standing in the Conservative Councillors' Association Local Government Board elections 2019/20 for the position of non-metropolitan representative.

Voting closes for CCA members at noon on 14 February 2019 with results declared at CCA AGM on 22 February.

The Conservative Councillors' Association (CCA) is made up of all elected Conservative Councillors from all principal authorities at district, borough and county level. The CCA is an independently run organisation managed by the Local Government Board and the board is elected annually by members of the CCA.

The CCA exists to provide a strong and unified voice for all Conservative councillors within the Party and in the wider community. The CCA supports councillors in their important role and provides them with the tools to both work effectively on behalf of local residents and to campaign successfully as Conservatives. It is an important part of the Conservative Party giving councillors a voice within the party.

Good luck Philip!
