Folkestone and Hythe Conservative Association has started selecting candidates for the 2023 local elections! 

On May 14th 2022, the Conservative members of who live in Cheriton Ward selected the candidates that they wanted to represent them in the 2023 local elections.

Cheriton Ward

Following speeches, a Q&A and a vote, the 3 candidates selected were:

• John Collier
• Dhan Gurung
• Rory Love

Folkestone Town Council

On the same day, the Branch also selected candidates for Folkestone Town Council.

The selection meeting was chaired by Association Officer, Laurie Glover in line with the Party’s constitution. He was assisted by Hugh Barker.

The remaining vacancies will be re-advertised to our approved candidate list.
